Andrew Littlemore - French Horn

Andrew is currently Principal Horn with the Birmingham Royal Ballet.

Formerly Co-Principal Horn at Opera North, he has played regularly with the Philharmonia, London Philharmonic and London Symphony Orchestras and appeared as a trialist for the Principal Horn position with the Royal Philharmonic and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic orchestras.

Andrew began learning the horn whilst he was a chorister at Salisbury Cathedral. He was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain for three years and in his final year with the Orchestra he was invited to play Principal Horn. A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, he studied with Jeff Bryant, Richard Bissill, Hugh Seenan and David Pyatt. Also at this time, Andrew was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra.

Having always enjoyed playing chamber music Andrew performed a world Premiere by Roxanna Panufnik in 2008 which he repeated in the Temple Song Recital Series in 2009 with Patricia Rozario and Julius Drake.
